[REPOST from Seattle Greendrinks]
New this month, we will have a particular emphasis at each monthly Greendrinks gathering. Come one, come all – but especially, come if you’re interested in the featured emphasis. For August, we will place specific focus on green building.
Featured non-profit of August: Environmental Works. Environmental Works provides sustainable architectural and planning services to low-income community groups throughout the Pacific NW. In June, through our $5/cup donation, we raised over $1000 for 21 Acres.
Don’t forget to sign up for your August 15 Green Lunch.
THE NEXT GREENDRINKS WILL BE ON TUESDAY, 12 AUGUST 2008, HOSTED BY Weber Thompson. They will be hosting at their new building (which is aiming for LEED Gold certification), at 225 Terry Ave N, in South Lake Union. For logistical questions regarding the August Greendrinks, please call 206.344.5700.

Continued thanks to our ongoing sponsors, The Sierra Nevada Brewing Co, Full Circle Farm, Guayaki, and new sponsor Vine Vixens! As per usual, the August Greendrinks will begin between 5:30 and 6pm.
Please help us reduce waste – even compostable waste – by bringing your own mugs, wine glasses, and the like.
Sponsorship opportunities for the website remain open for 2008.
